Chandra Chilappa, M.D.

Dr. Chilappa attended medical school in India. He went on to post graduate medical training in India and United Kingdom, obtaining board certification by Royal College of Physicians of United Kingdom (M.R.C.P.). He moved to New York City with his family in 2000. He did his Internal Medicine residency at Sound Shore Medical Center of Westchester, New York Medical College.

After residency, he practiced internal medicine in Lincoln, NE for three years and then pursued fellowship in Rheumatology at Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College. In summer 2010, he moved with his family to the Kansas City area and joined KCIM as a Rheumatologist.

Dr. Chilappa is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.

Outside his professional life, Dr. Chilappa enjoys traveling, music, and photography and spending time with his family.
