Amir Hemaya, M.D.

 

Dr. Hemaya attended Rockhurst College and graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He went on to attend the University of Kansas Medical School where he graduated in 1987. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Kansas Medical School from 1989-1991. He also completed a fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical School from 1991-1992.

 

Dr. Hemaya also completed an International Medical Clerkship where he studied at:

 

  • Hong Kong University, Hong Kong
  • St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, India
  • Christian Medical College, Velore, India
  • Kenyetta Medical College, Nairobi, Kenya
  • Cairo Medical College, Cairo Egypt

 

Dr. Hemaya is board certified in Internal Medicine since 1991 as well as board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners since 1989.
