Tara Nash graduated from Central Missouri State University in 1999 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing. She continued her education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City graduating in 2005 with a Master's of Science degree in Nursing. She received her Adult Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner's.

She is an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) and is an active member of the Greater Kansas City Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chapter serving currently as secretary.

She is currently working at the Lee's Summit and Lee's Summit East offices.
