Janis Steinbrecher, D.O

 

Dr. Steinbrecher received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1973 from the University of Washington-Seattle. She then went on to attend the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City and graduated in 1978 with her Doctor of Osteopathy. Her internship was completed at Botsford General Hospital, Farmington, Michigan in 1979. Her residency was completed at the Consortium for Health Education, University of Missouri-Kansas City, Truman Medical Center from 1982-1985.

  • Board certified in Internal Medicine since 1985
  • Board certified in Geriatric Medicine since 1990

 

She is a member of:

 

  • American Medical Society
  • Metropolitan Medical Society
  • American College of Physicians

 

She is currently on staff at Lee’s Summit Hospital and St. Luke’s East.

 

Dr. Steinbrecher is an avid golf player and can often be found playing. She also enjoys gardening and reading. Dr. Steinbrecher volunteers and actively supports Kansas City Hospice programs.
