Dr. Arvan graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 1988. She went on to the University of Missouri-Columbia where she received her Doctorate of Medicine in 1993. She did her post graduate studies at The Bowman Gray School
of Medicine at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
Dr. Arvan is board certified in Internal Medicine. She is also certified by the Medical
Acupuncture for Physicians, UCLA, since 1999. In 2004 achieved certification in
Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Arvan was raised in the Kansas City area. She enjoys community service, traveling and spending time with family and
friends.
