Dr. Gendel graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelors degree in Philosophy in 1981. He went on to attend the University of Kansas School of Medicine where he graduated in 1985. He did his internship and residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine from 1985-1988.

He is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as board certified in Geriatric medicine.

Dr. Gendel is a member of:

• Metropolitan Medical Society

He is currently on staff at Lee"s Summit Hospital and St. Luke"s East.

In his spare time, Dr. Gendel enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys.
