Jonathan Jacobs, M.D., FACP, FAAP

Dr. Jacobs graduated from Columbia University in New York , NY in 1989 with a B.A. in Latin American Studies and History. He attended the Mayo Medical School at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where he received his Doctorate of Medicine in 1995. He completed his residencies in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in 1999 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland , OH where he was also designated as Chief Resident in 1999.

Dr. Jacobs is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics/Adolescent Medicine and a fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

In 2005, Dr Jacobs created a clinic in the Kansas City Area designated to treat evacuees from Hurricane Katrina and saw nearly 1000 patients to which he was awarded the ACP Humanitarian Award for 2005. He has also been named “Kansas City SuperDoctor” and “One of America’s Top Pediatricians”.

Dr. Jacobs has been a volunteer physician for Cabot and Turner Clinics and vice president and co-founder of Doctors Outreach Clinics, an international health development non-profit organization.

Dr. Jacobs and his wife live in Overland Park, KS and are raising 4 beautiful children.
