Kristen Welborn FNP-C

Kristen Welborn graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1998 with a BSN. She worked as a RN in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) and labor and delivery for five years at the University of MO Hospital and University of Kansas Medical Center. She received her MSN from the University of Kansas in 2003 and is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

She is experienced in pediatrics, allergy and asthma care, and has also worked in retail health clinics. Most recently, she has worked independently in a rural health clinic.

She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Kristen grew up in rural Cass County. She is married with four young children and lives on a “hobby farm” with dairy goats, horses, cats and dogs. She enjoys gardening, horseback riding, swimming, cooking and all things related to children and animals.

She is active in the United Methodist church and enjoys volunteering with children’s and social welfare programs.
