Lori Groom, ARNP, CDE

Lori Groom graduated in 1984 from Methodist Medical Center in St. Joseph, MO with diploma in nursing. Bachelor’s degree completed in 1987 at Graceland College in Lamoni, IA. Master’s degree with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner completed in 1996 at University of Kansas.

Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Ms. Groom is also a Certified Diabetes Educator. Ms Groom began working with Kansas City Internal Medicine in 2006. She manages acute and chronic health problems as well as educating of patients for diabetes, weight control, osteoporosis and abnormal cholesterol levels.

Ms Groom has special interest in diabetes and skin diseases.

Ms Groom grew up in Northwest Missouri. She enjoys road trips and being outdoors.
