Marie Delcambre, M.D., FACP
Marie A. Delcambre MD, FACP earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, now known as the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
Her Doctorate in Medicine was awarded by Tulane University School of Medicine followed by her Harvard University internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the New England Deaconess Hospital, now known as the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital.
Dr. Delcambre moved to the Kansas Cityarea in 1984 and maintains board certifications in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. She had been a Kansas University Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine serving as a preceptor and mentor for KU medical students until stepping down from that role in 2011.
In 2010 she transitioned from traditional practice to become the first KCIM physician-affiliate of MDVIP in order to pursue a more personalized practice model with a focus on health and wellness, sometimes known as a concierge practice.
MDVIP is the national leader in wellness and prevention, affiliated with over 500 of the top physicians in the United States. Dr. Delcambre’s goal is to deliver the same level of personalized care she expects for her family.
She emphasizes prevention and gives individualized recommendations to her patients on how to achieve and maintain excellent health. In addition, she allows the time needed for a full discussion of any medical concerns and makes sure to answer all questions.
Dr. Delcambre takes pride in serving as the current President of Kansas City Internal Medicine. Her current hospital privileges include Menorah Medical Centerand St. Joseph Medical Center.
She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians as well as a member of the American College of Preventive Medicine and the Metropolitan Medical Society of Greater Kansas City.
